Job summary
PGTEK is seeking a skilled Test & Validation Integration Engineer to support a federal customer in Chantilly, VA. This role focuses on integrating enterprise compute, storage, and networking infrastructure in a controlled lab environment, with hands‑on rack‑and‑stack activities and comprehensive pre‑deployment testing.
The engineer will troubleshoot hardware and configuration issues, validate interoperability across components, and document deployment procedures to ensure reliable installations
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Onsite five days per week in Chantilly, VA.
- Experience with enterprise compute, storage, and networking.
- Experience with Kubernetes environments.
- Pre-deployment testing and deployment documentation.
Responsibilities
- Rack, stack, cable, and mount Dell PowerEdge servers and storage in data centers.
- Configure and validate network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, routing).
- Perform comprehensive pre-deployment testing and end-to-end validation of compute, storage, and networking.
- Install, bootstrap, and validate Kubernetes environments on bare-metal and virtualized infra.
- Develop deployment runbooks, SOPs, and cabling diagrams.
