Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an intern to support channel development and market intelligence within the Go To Market and Operations framework. You will work with finance, dealer operations, sales, and network development to expand services and parts channels.

The role offers exposure to techno-commercial aspects of business, pilot evaluations, and collaboration with market research firms, with an emphasis on Agile-like digital product practices in aftermarket services.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program or recently graduated within 1 year of the position start date.
• Ability to develop long-term channel strategies aligned with business goals.
• Business modelling and forecasting expertise.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and campaigns simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured research on channel models and summarize industry best practices.
• Analyze customer segments, product applications, and competitive channel strategies.
• Support development of market landscape views and white-space opportunities.
• Assist in building preliminary business cases including revenue potential and cost structures.
• Compile and analyze data to support opportunity sizing and pilot evaluation.
• Maintain and update dashboards for channel KPIs and reporting.
• Identify and profile potential partners and prepare comparison frameworks.
