Job summary

AARP Services, Inc. seeks a Digital Marketing Manager to develop campaigns, communications materials, and implementation strategies that align with marketing goals and drive growth.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, track results, and optimize strategies to respond to changing markets and competitive conditions. The role emphasizes leadership across search, social, display, and email channels within a hybrid US-based schedule.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications required.
  • Demonstrated leadership in planning and executing digital marketing initiatives across search, social media, display, and native advertising channels, including SEM, Google PMAX (PMAX), Meta Advantage+, Meta Audience Network, Google Display Network, and Microsoft Native Prospecting.
  • Experience planning and executing customer acquisition and engagement campaigns through social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and third-party email marketing programs.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to evaluate digital channel performance and recommend strategic adjustments to meet and exceed marketing program objectives.
  • Experience supporting both B2C and B2B business models preferred.
  • Client service and matrix management experience desired; agency experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills with a track record of driving successful marketing programs.

Overview

AARP Services, Inc., founded in 1999, is a wholly-owned taxable subsidiary of AARP. AARP Services manages the provider relationships for and performs quality control oversight of the wide range of products and services that carry the AARP name and are made available by independent providers as benefits to AARP’s millions of members. The provider offers currently span health products, financial products, travel and leisure products, and life event services. Specific products include Medicare supplemental insurance; credit cards, auto and home, mobile home and motorcycle insurance, life insurance and annuities; member discounts on rental cars, cruises, vacation packages and lodging; special offers on technology and gifts; pharmacy services and legal services. AARP Services also engages in new product development activities for AARP and provides certain consulting services to outside companies.

The Digital Marketing Manager develops marketing campaigns, communications materials, and implementation strategies that support varied organizational objectives. Ensures own projects are consistent and aligned with overall marketing strategies and adjacent ongoing projects. Tracks and assesses campaign results and adjusts marketing strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department.

  • Provides guidance on marketing best practices and campaign strategies to colleagues and/or external partners as necessart. Advises campaign stakeholders about next steps, opportunities, and risks based on best practices and lessons learned.
  • Observes, reviews, and measures the campaign outcomes, proactively elevating lessons learned to key stakeholders.
