The role of a Channel Marketing Manager at Canonical

We are seeking a channel marketing manager responsible for developing strategic relationships with global partners. Canonical partners with leading companies in technology, including public cloud providers (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle), silicon vendors (ARM, Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia), hardware vendors (Dell, HP, HPE, Lenovo), and others. As our business depends increasingly on partnerships, the scope of our partnership programs continues to grow. The successful candidate will drive marketing activities with partners and shape our partner programs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and marketing, enjoys ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement. They are problem solvers, hands-on, experimental, and data-driven, leveraging automation to streamline tasks.

This role reports to the Head of Channel Marketing.

Location: This role is remote within the Americas region.

What your day will look like
  • Build joint go-to-market plans with partners, from messaging to pipeline generation.
  • Create and deliver integrated campaigns, product launches, webinars, industry announcements, and content in collaboration with partners.
  • Package Canonical's product offerings and educational materials creatively, including bare metal, AI, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Grow Canonical's partner ecosystem by delivering value.
  • Develop and scale partner activities and programs.

  • Experience in B2B marketing and working with strategic corporate partners on co-marketing initiatives.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Proven analytical skills to assess opportunities and ROI.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
