Job summary

Ferrero seeks a Channel Marketing Analyst, Strategic Accounts, to support the strategic sales agenda for key customers. The role partners with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to translate data into compelling business stories and drive growth in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Based at Ferrero's North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ, the role requires 3+ years in CPG, data-driven thinking, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of CPG experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (MBA a plus)
  • Data analytics experience with tools like IRI, ACN, Spectra, Kantar
  • Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Willingness to travel ~10%
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and build cross-functional relationships

Responsibilities

  • Support the Channel Marketing Director for the Strategic Channel Leadership Team
  • Influence internal sales resources and investments to win in a competitive marketplace
  • Coordinate and execute the sales internal process and oversee volume forecasts
  • Participate in planning, providing supporting material and recommendations
  • Mine customer data to create business reviews, line reviews, product launches, and seasonal presentations
  • Provide actionable insights on performance, trends, and opportunities
  • Utilize data sources (IRI, ACN, Spectra, POL, Kantar, Power BI, SAP) to analyze data and craft sales stories
  • Develop and maintain KPI scorecards and manage ad hoc requests for sales/leadership
  • Manage and update KPI attainment and participate in KPI calls
  • Assist in annual trade budget management
  • Facilitate planning for Trade Promotions Management
  • Support volume and trade discussions to stay within budget and hit targets
  • Analyze trade spend vs sales performance and promotional effectiveness
  • Manage allocations for strategic customers
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships and act as customer logistics liaison
  • Oversee end-to-end order management with customer logistics
  • Keep JBP scorecards aligned to customer financial metrics

Channel Marketing Analyst, Strategic Accounts
About the Role:

We have a current opening for aChannel Marketing Analyst, Strategic Accounts and are actively reviewing applications.

As a Channel Marketing Analyst, Strategic Accounts, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic sales agenda for some of our most important customers. Working closely with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams, you'll leverage data, insights, and market trends to drive business growth, optimize promotional investments, and support customer planning. This highly analytical role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex data into compelling business stories, influencing decisions, and helping deliver winning strategies in a fast-paced, competitive CPG environment.

This position is Hybrid and will be based out of our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Channel Marketing Director for the Strategic Channel Leadership Team in the sales function
  • Support the strategic sales agenda for the channel and influence the internal commercial sales team to ensure the right resources and investment levels to win in highly competitive marketplace.
  • Coordinate and execute the sales internal process and oversee volume forecasts
  • Be an active participant in the planning process, providing supporting material and recommendations
  • Mine customer data and leverage to support creation of business reviews, line reviews, new product launch presentations, seasonal presentations, innovation sessions, JBP’s and Top to Top meetings on behalf of Value Channel sales team
  • Provide actionable insights through data on performance, trends and opportunities to the team
  • Utilize data sources (i.e., IRI, ACN, Spectra, POL, Kantar, Power BI, SAP) to analyze the data and create compelling sales stories
  • Develop and execute new and innovative scorecards to analyze business performance and complete ad hoc requests for the sales and leadership teams
  • Manage and update the KPI attainment throughout the year, and represent the team on KPI calls when needed
  • Assist in management annual trade budget
  • Facilitate the non-promoted and promoted planning for Trade Promotions Management
  • Assist Channel Marketing Director in volume and trade discussions on a weekly basis ensuring team stays within budget and continues to drive sales, while achieving monthly volume targets
  • Analyze trade spend compared to sales performance and targets
  • Analyze post promotional events, promotional effectiveness, distribution opportunities, assortment recommendations and seasonal sell through
  • Manage the allocations process of strategic customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams
  • Act as the customer logistics provider for all Value Channel customers
  • Facilitate end to end order management in conjunction with customer logistics team
  • Maintain JBP scorecard aligned to with customer measuring key financial metrics
About You:
  • At least 3+ years’ CPG experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, M.B.A. is a plus
  • Data analytics experience and knowledge of IRI, ACN, ShopperSights, Spectra, Retail Link, RSI and EYC etc.
  • Strong math, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Detailed oriented with solid planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a proactive and timely manner
  • Ability to generate positive relationships and foster a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting project deadlines
  • Strong organizational agility and relationship building a must
  • Strong process improvement skills
  • Good communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skillsProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and exceptional excel and powerpoint skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

The base compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
