ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Sales Account Executive who’s hungry to grow and understands how to sell through MSPs by enabling them to become an extension of our sales force. This role is made for someone who doesn’t just land deals but expands them.

You’ll build and nurture MSP relationships, help them integrate our offerings into their own go-to-market strategy, and continuously uncover new ways to add value to their portfolios. From urgent IR calls to long-term advisory services, you’ll lead the full sales cycle and help elevate our partners’ cybersecurity maturity along the way.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Drive Growth in the MSP Channel

  • Identify, recruit, and develop strategic MSP partnerships
  • Position our full-service cybersecurity offerings - including IR, Managed SOC, vCISO, Pen Testing, and proactive assessments as value drivers for their customers
  • Help partners embed Blue Team Alpha into their existing services

Land and Expand

  • Leverage partner relationships to multiply your sales impact by enabling MSP sellers to drive opportunities
  • Educate and empower partner sales teams to confidently position Blue Team Alpha as part of their core offering

Own the Sales Cycle

  • Manage all stages of the deal process: prospecting, discovery, presenting, SOW development, and closing
  • Lead intake and scoping calls for incident response engagements when needed
  • Work with delivery and advisory teams to scope follow-on services and long-term improvement paths

Be a Cybersecurity Guide

  • Stay sharp on threats, trends, and service innovation
  • Confidently speak to evolving risks, compliance frameworks, and the roadmap to stronger cyber maturity

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience in cybersecurity or information technology
  • Proven success selling through partners (ideally MSPs) and enabling those teams to co-sell
  • Understanding of the full cybersecurity service stack including IR, advisory, SOC, and offensive testing
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and executive audiences
  • A self-starter with a hunter mindset and a team-player approach

Bonus Points For:

  • Existing MSP or channel relationships
  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF or CIS Controls
  • Experience selling vCISO, MDR, or other high-touch security services
