Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Changeover Supervisor to oversee the part-time operations team during event setups, breakdowns, and changes. You will ensure changeovers are completed safely, in the required configuration for each event, and in a timely, thorough manner.

The role reports to the Changeover Manager and requires coordinating with the Operations Manager. A minimum three years of supervisory experience and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of general labor and supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of mechanical functions is preferred.
• Previous facility experience is a plus.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills are preferred.
• Experience with CAD is preferred.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Job Title: Changeover Supervisor

Department: Operations

Reports To: Changeover Manager

FLSA Status: Full-Time Hourly / Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: The Changeover Supervisor assists in the supervision of the part-time changeover

operations team during setup, breakdowns, and changes for events and ensures that changeovers are completed safely, in the configuration needed for each event, and in a timely, thorough manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Physically perform and assist with event setups, changeovers and daily operations tasks

• Act on all relevant information from Operations Manager and Changeover Manager for event setups and changeovers

• Train new part-time operations department employees and participate in the interview process as needed

• Operate and distribute tools as required in connection with changeover and project use

• Perform facility operational tasks required in keeping up the facility on non-event days

• Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises changeover/operations crew as well as all team leaders. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees in conjunction with HR.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Requires the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
• This position requires work inside and/or outside of the building as needed and is subject to changing climate and adverse weather conditions.
• The worker may be subject to noise. Noise levels will vary depending on the job task and events in the building.
• Must have knowledge of safe operation of all tools required to perform necessary job functions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance and kneel, crouch or crawl, perform strenuous physical duties for extended periods, including lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must be able to stand and work on your feet for an entire shift
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in elevated spaces such as off a lift or on a catwalk

Schedule: Varies based on events

Typical schedule for non-event / project days would be Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
