Legends Global in Concord, NC is seeking a part-time Changeover Laborer at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center to assist with event setup and conversion tasks. The role involves moving tables, chairs, walls, barricades, stages, flooring, furnishings, and equipment, plus loading/unloading trucks and replenishing supplies.

This position requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work under supervision, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Experience in operations or facilities preferred.
• Forklift, aerial lift or scissor lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conversion tasks for events, including tables, chairs, walls, barricades, stages, flooring, furnishings, and equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and transport trash and supplies.
• Light maintenance tasks such as painting and patching.
• Report safety concerns and property damage to supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and work under general supervision.
• Work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Position: Changeover LaborerReports To: Conversion ManagerFLSA Status: Part-Time HourlyOVERVIEWLegends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for part-time Changeover Laborer at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain, and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical activity.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform all aspects of the setup and conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and removing tables, chairs, operable walls, barricades, stages, flooring, furnishings, and equipment.Perform various duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include but are not limited to loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and recycling to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies.Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting, and patching.Report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, and loss of property and safety concerns promptly to supervisor.Ability to use appropriate equipment and supplies to clean and maintain the facility.Perform other related duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
