Job Summary
The Change Management Lead – M&A Integration supports merger and acquisition initiatives by driving effective change adoption, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness.
This role partners closely with business leaders, HR, IT, and program teams to ensure that changes resulting from M&A activities are successfully communicated, understood, and adopted across the organization.
The role requires structured change management expertise, strong communication skills, and experience operating in complex, cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies supporting M&A integration initiatives.
- Assess organizational change impacts and adoption risks associated with mergers and acquisitions.
- Define and implement mitigation strategies to address resistance and readiness challenges.
- Apply structured change management methodologies, including Prosci or equivalent frameworks, to drive sustained adoption.
Communication & Engagement
- Create and manage multi-channel communication plans tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop clear, targeted messaging aligned with M&A milestones and business objectives.
- Partner with leaders to ensure consistent, transparent, and timely communication throughout the change lifecycle.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Conduct stakeholder assessments to evaluate influence, readiness, and engagement levels.
- Collaborate with Business, IT, HR, and other functional teams to align change activities and execution plans.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership on organizational impact and change readiness.
- Facilitate alignment across functional and cross-functional teams during integration efforts.
Training & Enablement
- Apply adult learning principles to support effective training and enablement strategies.
- Partner with learning and development teams on training design methodologies that reinforce adoption and behavioral change.
- Ensure training materials align with change objectives, user needs, and integration timelines.
- Proactively identify risks related to adoption, resistance, and communication gaps.
- Track change effectiveness, adoption metrics, and stakeholder feedback.

Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Change, or transformation-focused roles.
