GE Vernova is seeking a Change Control Engineer within the CM organization to transform product requirements and engineering design into actionable definitions across GT, ST, GEN, HRSG, Aero, and BOP families.
You will validate changes in PLM/ERP tools, participate in Change Control Board activities, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure upstream clarity and downstream accuracy throughout NPIs and maintenance.
The Configuration Management (CM) organization is responsible for transforming product requirements as well as engineering design intent into actionable product definition. Through utilization of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) GTCC tool and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) space, we are able to deliver on-time and quality product definition to supply chain functions globally. Gas Power (GP) organization’s customers are also partners and consumers of CM output. The Change Control Engineer will be a member of the Change Management team and will receive training on the tools and processes to validate changes for Flange to Flange (F2F), Accessories, Electrical and Controls scope for Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, Heat Recovery Steam Generation (HRSG), Balance of Plant (BOP) and Aeroderivative products. The objects subject to initial release and change consist of CAD models, parts, hardware & Unit BOMs, drawings and documents. Changes occur throughout the lifecycle of the products and projects that span across New Product Introductions (NPIs), New Unit and Services requisitions, and maintenance of As-Running configurations. We are the Subject Matter and Systems Engineering Experts of the Change Control Process. We leverage our expertise in the review of change requests to ensure they are correctly explained, defined at the source, scoped and implemented in downstream tools and processes, while following official procedures and work instructions to help ensure quality in our Master Data. We conduct impact analysis (cost, schedule, units, other organizations, …) and mitigate potential risks in the change execution and implementation. We also facilitate collaboration with stakeholders to drive upfront involvement and acceptance of the change results.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
