Job summary

Loenbro LLC in Chandler, AZ is seeking an experienced Fabrication Shop Welder to join our Chandler Fab Shop team. You will work on steel structures, read plans, and perform FCAW/MGAW with Flux Core Wire to meet customer specs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years welding experience, can read blueprints, and must pass a structural welding test. OSHA 10 certification preferred and willingness to travel if needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years welding experience.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Ability to pass a Structural Welding test.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Welding experience in fabrication shop, construction, mining or related industry.
• Must be familiar with welding codes and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay-out, install and repair pipe per plans and specifications.
• FCAW / MGAW welding.
• Structural welding and fitting experience.
• Experience with Flux Core Wire.
• Experience welding Grade A36 - A572 steel.
• Choose filler metals and construction materials for assignments.
• Observe equipment for hazards and determine need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
