Job summary

Russells Technical Products is seeking a Chamber Shipping Preparation Technician for 1st shift. Full-time, 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed based on customer demand.

The role focuses on physically preparing environmental test chambers and related equipment for shipment, ensuring cleanliness, protection, and secure packaging prior to dispatch. In this hands-on position, you will work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Shipping & Receiving to verify

Qualifications

• Reads instructions and follows written procedures accurately.
• Manufacturing/shipping experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic hand tools and power tools with safety in mind.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare completed environmental test chambers for shipment following shipping prep instructions.
• Detach, label, package, and protect electrical panels, monitors, sensors, and accessories as required.
• Clean chambers and remove dirt, fingerprints, debris while protecting surfaces.
• Protect painted and finished surfaces from damage during transport.
• Install protective materials, padding, and coverings as needed.
• Secure doors, panels, shelves, and components for safe shipment.
