Challenger Aircraft Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Join us as a Challenger Aircraft Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift at West Star Aviation, LLC.

Position Details

Our 2nd shift operates Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1:00a.m., with a shift incentive including a 10%-15% premium, paid lunch, 3-day weekends, formal airframe training, and the opportunity to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.

Role Expectations

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will work on sophisticated civilian aircraft, performing tasks such as replacing or repairing parts, troubleshooting systems, inspections, engine removals, and operating ground support equipment. Daily tasks offer new experiences and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and systems.
  • Remove and install panels and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
  • De-fuel aircraft and perform engine removals/installations.
  • Operate ground support equipment.
  • Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
  • Assist with aircraft movement and performance runs.
  • Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
  • Use basic computer skills for electronic manuals and maintenance databases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, and Airframe and Powerplant License are required. A valid driver’s license or passport is preferred but not mandatory.

Personal Attributes

Self-motivated team players capable of working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and adherence to FAA and safety guidelines are essential.
