Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Dental Assistant training program OR two or more years of dental assistant experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Dental Radiography Certificate and OSHA/ Infection Control training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures by dentist and assist chair-side.
• Assist dentist with procedures including cleanings, fillings, root canals, crowns and extractions.
• Take, develop and mount X-rays and operate imaging equipment as qualified.
• Check blood sugars and maintain patient records with accuracy.
• Maintain sterile operatories and follow OSHA guidelines.
