Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician to serve as Chair of the Emergency Medicine Department at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The role includes leadership of clinical activities, resident education, and program development within a large academic health system.

The Chair will educate and supervise residents, create policies to improve quality and safety, and advance research and teaching within the department and affiliated sites.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Strong clinical leader with a focus on quality and safety.
• Minimum 5 years of academic leadership experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an academic background preferred.
