Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), part of Jefferson Health, seeks a transformative Chair for the Department of Emergency & Hospital Medicine. The role unites clinical excellence, academic leadership, and operational strategy across a large, multi-hospital enterprise.

The Chair leads a diverse, geographically distributed department, drives quality and research initiatives, and collaborates with academic partners to advance patient care and education within the Jefferson Health system.

Qualificações

• MD/DO with EM residency and board certification.
• Minimum 5 years of medical leadership experience.
• Pennsylvania medical license required.
• Completion of Emergency Medicine residency and board certification is essential.
• Strong leadership, program development, and strategic planning skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic, clinical, academic, and operational leadership for DOEHM.
• Lead quality improvement, care management, education, research, and workforce development.
• Advise senior leadership on emergency and hospital medicine matters.
• Oversee education, research, and clinical program development across the department.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
