Champion Benefits, an Alera Group Company, is looking for an Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct plan design analysis and competitive benchmarking.
  • Manage vendor relationships and develop bid specifications.
  • Analyze proposals and present findings to clients.
  • Understand client culture, financial climate, and business needs.
  • Address escalated client and employee service issues.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
  • Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Insurance preferred.
  • Active Life and Health License required with solid employee benefits experience, preferably at a broker.
  • Strong financial acumen, technical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated, confident, and driven with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.

This job can be completed fully remote.
