Qualifications

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Plant Controller to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $67.00 to $86.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and month end close activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial results.

Partner with operations and leadership teams to provide financial analysis, cost management insights, and support strategic decision making.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and variance analysis initiatives to improve business performance.

Manage product costing, operational financial reporting, and profitability analysis to support manufacturing objectives.

Develop and mentor finance staff while driving process improvements, internal control compliance, and audit readiness.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles.

Previous experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, inventory management, and operational accounting environments.
