Job summary

Price Rite of NEW BEDFORD is hiring a CGO/Scanning Coordinator to ensure pricing integrity storewide and maintain stocked, accurately priced shelves. You will coordinate with management and other departments to support daily operations and customer service.

The role emphasizes accuracy in price updates, shelf scans, and communication with buyers, within a fast-paced retail environment. Applicants must meet physical and safety requirements and be able to work across temperatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Stand for prolonged periods.
• Climb OSHA approved ladder or step stool.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate keyboard and numeric keypad.
• Handle products without allergic reactions.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform all CGO functions including reviewing order lists, daily communications, price changes, and scanning inventory.
• Prepare CGO orders and ensure pricing accuracy via signs and labels.
• Scan dead stock and review forecast percentages; communicate issues to buyers.
• Maintain plan-o-grams, pricing files, and item variety.
• Conduct shelf audits and host comparison reporting with Merchandising.
• Follow company policies, safety requirements, and keep a clean, organized work area.
