Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a CGO/Scanning Coordinator for the Price Rite location in Worcester, MA. The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience while maintaining pricing integrity storewide and ensuring equipment and systems operate properly.

Responsibilities include reviewing order lists, managing price changes, scanning stock and maintaining accurate pricing. Qualifications require English proficiency, basic math, physical stamina, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Stand for prolonged periods.
• Climb OSHA approved ladder or step stool.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate keyboard and numeric keypad.
• Handle fresh, dried and/or processed products without negative allergic consequences.
• Tolerate dust and cleaning agents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CGO functions including reviewing order lists, reviewing LINK and email daily, and price change batches daily.
• Walk aisles to scan highs and lows, prepare CGO orders, ensure pricing is accurate via signs and labels.
• Scan dead stock from deliveries and review forecast percentages.
• Communicate item issues to buyers and maintain plan-o-grams and pricing files.
• Maintain pricing accuracy with weekly ads and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service; cooperate with departments.
