Job summary

Hims & Hers Health, Inc. in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Production Chemist to perform hands-on cGMP peptide manufacturing, supporting upstream or downstream operations. Training will be provided, and cross-training may follow once established in the role.

The role reports to the Supervisor, CGMP Manufacturing. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. This position is based at the H&H Peptides facility in Menlo Park.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline is required.
• Hands-on laboratory experience is required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures precisely and document accurately.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs; occasional weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on cGMP peptide manufacturing tasks safely and on schedule.
• Execute upstream: SPPS and cleavage operations and related tasks.
• Perform downstream: prep HPLC purification, lyophilization, and packaging.
• Prepare and label chemical solutions and buffers; maintain batch records.
• Report deviations promptly and keep GMP and safety training up to date.
