Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum two years HVAC experience.
• Experience with chilled-water distribution loops.
• Experience with heating-water system repair and replacement.
• Knowledge of high-tonnage HVAC systems and refrigeration.
• Experience with glycol refrigeration systems.
• Experience with a Building Automation System (BAS).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for HVAC systems.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Must follow safety practices in HVAC trades.
• On-call availability for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Work hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm.
• Install, service, rebuild, and repair HVAC systems per codes and safety requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration systems and components.
• Charge systems, test for leaks, and adjust refrigerant metering devices.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork as needed.
• Repair heating-water systems including pumps, valves, and controls.
• Assist with BAS and cleanroom HVAC maintenance as required.
