CareGivers America is hiring RNs and LPNs to provide 1:1 pediatric nursing in the home and community in Berwick and throughout Columbia County.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Care needs include ADL assistance, feeding support, mobility, incontinence care, and G-tube management.
• Willingness to work in Columbia County.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates welcome.
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Comfort with children with developmental and complex medical needs.
• Capable of hands-on care and mobility assistance.
• Able to operate and monitor medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to children in their home.
• Monitor health, safety, and overall condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Perform seizure monitoring and respond with training as needed.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and daily care tasks.
• Manage feeding tubes and related equipment.
• Complete accurate documentation and care records.
• Communicate changes with families and care team.
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Provide comfort and age-appropriate engagement.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for the child.

CareGivers America is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric care in the home and community.

Work directly with children who may have autism, seizure disorders, developmental delays, feeding tubes, or other complex medical needs—providing skilled nursing care, support, and comfort that makes a meaningful difference for children and their families.

Job Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice
• Care Needs: Seeking a nurse comfortable providing total care, including ADL assistance, feeding support, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and G-tube management.
• Willingness to work in Columbia County
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates welcome
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable caring for children with developmental and complex medical needs

• Able to provide hands‑on care, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, positioning, and assisting with mobility or transfers

What You’ll Do:

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Monitor the child's health, safety, and overall condition
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
• Provide seizure monitoring and response, with training available as needed
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and other daily care needs
• Monitor and assist with feeding tubes and other medical equipment as applicable
• Complete accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and required care records
• Communicate changes in condition, concerns, and updates with parents, caregivers, and the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and age‑appropriate engagement throughout the shift
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the child
