Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, CFT Design to lead real estate development designs for a national market, ensuring brand standards, cost, schedule, and quality.

This role oversees diverse projects, coordinates with in-house teams and consultants, and guides design managers and senior designers across multiple product types. The position collaborates with leasing and design teams, facilitates approvals with authorities, and drives staff development while managing due diligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in architectural and construction design management, especially in retail/hospitality.
• Ability to manage diverse project portfolios across national scope.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with consultants and internal groups.

Responsibilities

• Creates designs (or remodels) meeting company standards for a national market.
• Presents at Pre-RESAC and RESAC for committee approval.
• Presents at city meetings for project approval and coordinates with Project Managers and consultants.
• Manages Design Managers, Senior Project Designers, and Design Coordinators; oversees staff and project portfolios.
