Job summary

Facet Wealth was founded to deliver objective, personalized financial advice at an affordable rate. As Director, Planning Team Lead, you will guide a pod of CFP-planners, coaching them to deliver high‑quality planning while connecting field insights to firm strategy.

You will balance leadership with hands-on planning for member outcomes. You’ll manage 50–100 members, run live training demos, and model productive routines across the team, enabling growth and exceptional member experiences

Qualifications

• CFP designation required.
• 7+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience.
• Proven performance with high quality planning and team development.
• 3+ years of coaching and developing planners.
• Technical depth in equity compensation, tax, estate planning and debt refinancing.
• Startup experience in financial services and adaptability to evolving models.
• Strong communication to move people and drive behavior change.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a pod of financial planners, aligning daily work with company goals.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, quality reviews, and escalate complex issues.
• Ensure adoption of Facet’s planning methodology and proprietary tech.
• Collaborate with Planning Leadership to map long-term growth for the team.
• Manage live training demos and oversee 50–100 member portfolios.
