Job summary

Facet is seeking a Director, Planning Team Lead to guide a pod of CFP® professionals and align execution with company goals. You will coach financial planners, translate field insights into scalable solutions, and uphold Facet’s One Facet culture.

You’ll balance leadership with hands-on planning for 50–100 members, drive engagement, and ensure high-quality, compliant financial planning while advancing strategic growth.

Qualifications

• CFP designation required and active.
• 7+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience.
• 3+ years of leadership coaching and development experience.
• Strong ability to lead and empower planners in a startup-style environment.
• Experience with equity compensation, tax, estate planning, and debt refinancing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a pod of financial planners, aligning execution with company goals.
• Manage calendar, member relationships, and complex escalations.
• Ensure adoption of Facet’s planning methodology and proprietary tech.
• Balance leadership time (approximately 75%) with direct financial planning (approximately 25%).
