Job summary

Facet Wealth is seeking a senior CFP leader to direct a high-performing pod of financial planners while staying closely connected to members. You will partner with Product, Marketing and Compliance to ensure tools and communications reflect true planning needs, and you will still manage a small member book to pilot innovative ideas.

You will guide the team as a subject-matter expert in a planning domain, turning expertise into scalable practices and best-in-class client outcomes.

Qualifications

• CFP® designation required.
• 10+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience.
• 5+ years of direct leadership experience guiding planning teams.
• Ability to translate complex planning concepts into practical frameworks.

About the Role

This is a leadership role built for an experienced CFP® leader who wants to stay connected to members while driving company-wide impact. This person will direct a high-performing pod of financial planners, serve as the internal subject matter expert for a key practice area, and partner directly with the Product, Marketing, and Compliance teams. They will also maintain a small, select member practice of 25-35 members to pilot new ideas and model best practices for their team.

What You'll Do

• Guide a dedicated team of CFP® professionals, coaching them on both technical mastery and the human side of financial planning - helping them build deep trust and deliver clear, actionable advice.
• Serve as the internal lead and authority on a specific planning domain, turning your team's expertise into scalable frameworks, teaching tools, and firm-wide best practices.
• Serve as the lead Planning representative in cross-functional discussions with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Compliance to ensure our tools and client communications match actual planning realities.
• Manage a small book of 25-35 client relationships (~15% of time) to test new practice initiatives, run live demonstration sessions, and keep an understanding of the member experience.

What We're Looking For

• CFP® designation required.
• 10+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience, along with 5+ years of direct leadership experience guiding high-performing planning teams.
• Demonstrated ability to turn complex planning concepts into simple, practical frameworks that scale across an organization.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of resolving complex organizational challenges constructively and diplomatically.
