Job summary

Ascendiun Finance is seeking a Vice President, Chief of Staff to partner with the CFO and lead strategic initiatives across the Ascendiun family of companies. This role will be a solo function reporting to the CFO, driving cross-functional projects and strengthening financial processes to enable high performance.

The role requires a seasoned finance leader capable of translating complex issues into actionable roadmaps, with experience in regulated environments and executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Experience with multi-year financial strategy and KPI reporting.
• Experience in regulated environments with nonprofit and for-profit reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as CFO’s key strategist and thought partner.
• Lead cross-functional projects from strategy through execution.
• Strengthen financial processes across the family of companies.
• Prepare executive and board-level reporting.
• Balance competing priorities while managing risk and deadlines.
