Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Fund Controller in a hybrid role based in Washington DC to lead the full financial lifecycle of a portfolio of venture funds, from partnership accounting and monthly closes to LP communications and fund-level reporting.

You will be a trusted operator that GPs lean on, with a background in VC/PE fund administration and startup experience. This role offers opportunities for advancement, equity options, and a flexible hybrid/remote schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5-9 years of relevant VC/PE fund or Fund Admin experience.
• Previous startup experience required.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Job Details

We're looking for a Fund Controller who can run the full financial lifecycle of a portfolio of venture funds: from partnership accounting and monthly close to LP communications and fund-level reporting. You won't just maintain the books, you'll be a trusted operator that GPs actually lean on.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5-9 years of relevant experience from a VC/PE fund or Fund Admin
• Previous experience from a startup is required
• Desire to work in entrepreneurial small business setting
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus
