Job summary

UN Women seeks a Management Specialist to support the CFO Office, coordinating strategic planning, executive workflow and high-level advisory functions. You will frame issues, prepare decision papers and ensure timely follow-through across DFA and corporate counterparts.

The role requires advanced coordination, governance experience and strong drafting/communication skills to support senior leadership in financial stewardship and organizational transformation within an international context.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, public administration, finance, accounting, economics, international development, social sciences or a related field.
• A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CFO Office’s strategic planning, engagements and executive workflow.
• Lead the CFO’s support team and manage priorities and workplans.
• Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues requiring CFO attention.
• Provide high-level decision-support and briefs for senior management and governance bodies.
• Support execution of CFO-led strategic priorities and cross-organizational initiatives.
• Coordinate engagement with the Executive Board, oversight bodies and UN system counterparts.
