Job summary

AGI, a wholly owned subsidiary of Synopsys, seeks a CFO-level finance leader to drive strategy, planning, and governance for mission-critical government initiatives. You will partner with executive leadership and the parent company to optimize profitability, compliance, and investment decisions.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews, translating complex contracts and regulatory requirements into actionable business plans while ensuring tight controls and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA/CPA/CMA/CFA or equivalent preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance, FP&A, controllership, corporate finance, or government contracting finance experience.
• Active or prior U.S. security clearance preferred where applicable.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, federal contracting, national security, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Ability to work with U.S. government customers in a defense-oriented operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Function as the CFO-like finance leader for AGI, advising the VP & GM, AGI executive leadership, and parent company stakeholders.
• Develop and execute the finance strategy, aligning planning, forecasting, reporting, controls, investments, and operating rhythms with priorities and government program requirements.
• Lead executive reviews, long-range planning, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, headcount planning, and cost optimization.
• Translate financial results, risks, and opportunities into clear recommendations for senior leaders and governance bodies.
• Partner with Legal, Contracts, Compliance, Security, and Shared Services to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
