Job summary

Staff Financial Group is actively seeking a hands-on CFO to lead the finance function as the company advances from roughly $20 million to $100 million in revenue. The role entails owning capital strategy, driving profitability, and building scalable financial systems, all while partnering with a CEO who values initiative and decisive action.

Qualifications

• Experience as CFO or senior financial leader in growing privately held or entrepreneurial business.
• Track record of growing revenue and profitability.
• Family office experience and ownership/investment understanding.
• Strong M&A, cash management, treasury, and capital allocation skills.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis.
• Experience implementing scalable systems and processes.
• Proven ability to develop and lead accounting and finance professionals.
• Executive presence with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute growth strategy from $20M to $100M.
• Lead cash management, capital allocation, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Evaluate and support M&A opportunities including due diligence and integration.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, margins, productivity, and overall performance.
• Strengthen financial reporting, systems, processes, controls, and technology, including automation and AI.
• Mentor and develop the Controller and accounting team.
• Provide ownership with clear recommendations on growth, financing and risk.
• Develop an actionable first-90-day plan and longer-term roadmap for scaling the organization.
