BSG | Boston Search Group, Inc. is conducting an executive search for a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of a rapidly scaling venture-backed technology company headquartered in the Northeast.

The CFO will oversee global finance, build scalable systems, and partner with the CEO and board on strategy and growth. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in hardware-enabled tech, SaaS metrics, and institutional finance environments, with a demonstrated ability to scale

Qualifications

CFO or senior finance leadership experience in high-growth, venture-backed, or private equity-backed business.
Experience scaling finance organizations amid revenue growth and operational complexity.
Strong hardware/manufacturing or physical product finance experience, incl. cost accounting & inventory valuation.
Experience leading global, multi-entity finance orgs with international accounting complexity.
Proven ability to build scalable FP&A, accounting, and finance infrastructure.
Exposure to public markets readiness or institutional finance environments.
Ability to partner with operations, commercial leadership, and executives in fast-paced founder-led settings.

Responsibilities

Lead global finance organization (accounting, FP&A, controls, reporting, treasury, tax, operations).
Build scalable financial infrastructure, processes, and controls for international expansion.
Develop world-class FP&A for forecasting, KPI visibility, and insights.
Partner with CEO and leadership on strategic planning, pricing, margins, and decisions.
Drive hardware and SaaS revenue finance, including cost accounting and margin analysis.
Improve global accounting consistency across entities and operations.
Establish board-ready reporting, cadence, and long-range planning.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Support audit readiness and long-term public markets initiatives.
