Job summary

NOW CFO specializes in delivering full‑service CFOs, controllers, and operational accountants to a diverse portfolio of clients, including nonprofit organizations serving the Denver market.

This role focuses on strategic financial leadership, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and mentoring finance teams across industries, with emphasis on nonprofit sector growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance/accounting consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Leadership, communication, and mentorship abilities with senior leadership influence.
• Non-profit experience is preferred, across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership to clients across multiple industries, including nonprofit entities.
• Lead development and execution of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and policy compliance.
• Conduct data-driven analysis to identify gaps and growth opportunities; manage investor and donor relations.
• Oversee risk management, regulatory alignment, and technology integration to improve operations.
• Mentor finance team members and build strong stakeholder relationships.
