Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Active or in-process CPA and/or CGFM.
• Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and perform engagements including accounting and financial close tasks.
• Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and compliance projects.
• Evaluate client accounting challenges and deliver tailored advisory solutions.
• Review ACFR for accuracy against benchmarks like GFOA checklists.
• Provide status updates to client leadership on findings and progress.
• Develop content (articles, podcasts, webinars) on governmental accounting topics.
