Job summary

GPAC is seeking a CFO Services Consultant to help client businesses improve financial performance through fractional CFO support, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

You will work directly with business owners and executives, building financial models, budgets, and cash flow tools while guiding leadership on profitability, KPIs, and growth opportunities across various industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting, finance, public accounting, or advisory experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Experience working directly with business owners, executives, or other senior-level decision makers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn financial information into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with financial modeling, process improvement, or strategic financial planning is highly preferred.
• CPA, MBA, or other relevant certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple client engagements and working in a consulting/advisory environment.

Responsibilities

• Help clients make informed decisions around growth, investments, and overall business strategy.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand advisory services.
• Participate in business development through networking, referral relationships, and industry connections.

Overview: A growing professional services organization is looking to add a CFO Services Consultant to its team. This is a great opportunity for a finance and accounting professional who enjoys working directly with business owners and leadership teams to improve financial performance, provide strategic guidance, and help businesses make better decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong public accounting, accounting, finance, or financial advisory background and be comfortable stepping into a hands-on, client-facing role. This position will work across a variety of businesses and projects, providing fractional CFO support, financial analysis, forecasting, process improvement, and strategic planning.
