We are working with the Founders of an early-stage private equity-backed company in the Energy industry. They are looking to hire a dynamic CFO to build out their Accounting and Finance functions. This company offers a competitive salary with benefits, including potential equity and a fully remote schedule!

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the executive team to develop and manage a comprehensive financial plan.
• Advise the executive team on financial performance and long-term financial planning.
• Manage all finance and accounting functions, including daily financial reporting, working capital/cash management, FP&A, financial controls, and risk management.
• Communicate vision and strategy for Finance, Marketing, and Engineering teams, and collaborate to set individual goals that drive successful execution.
• Lead capital management strategies, including securing debt financing, managing equity, and coordinating with private equity (PE) partners.
• Identify, evaluate, and execute M&A opportunities to support strategic growth. Lead financial due diligence, negotiations, and integration.

Requirements:

• MBA, CPA, or CFA certification.
• 15+ years of experience, including 7+ at the VP or C-level.
• Experience in Energy, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries.
• Strong skills in strategic financial planning, fundraising, M&A, risk management, and international finance.
• Proven experience managing capital structure, debt, equity, and investor relations.
