Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a remote finance professional to provide fractional CFO/controller services for a portfolio of small business clients across the United States. You will lead strategic monthly calls, analyze statements and KPIs, and develop dashboards to illuminate performance.

The role emphasizes forecasting, profitability improvement, cash-flow management, and actionable client coaching. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary fractional executive team to deliver tailored guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller or in a senior-level accounting or finance position.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, KPI development, and financial dashboards.
• Proven track record of improving profitability, managing cash flow, or reducing operating expenses.
• Experience managing teams, working with clients, or maintaining professional business relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial information in simple, practical terms.
• Hands-on, advisory approach guiding business owners toward better financial decisions.
• Small business or entrepreneurial experience preferred.
• Experience in professional services or law firms is an advantage.
• Availability for occasional evening work and business travel.
• Residence in one of the eligible states listed.
