Job summary

AAR Corp seeks an Instructor Pilot (CFII) to provide flight and ground instruction for students in accordance with FAA Part 61, Part 141, and US Army standards. The role includes maintaining training records, endorsements, and FSN TCO knowledge while upholding safety and customer service excellence.

Required: CFII rating, 2,000 total rotorcraft hours with 1,000 as instructor, and US citizenship for Fort Rucker site access. Prior Army/government aviation experience a plus.

Qualifications

• CFII rating and instructional experience required.
• Experience instructing under FAA Part 61/Part 141 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to mentor students and manage training records.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students throughout flight and ground training.
• Maintain flight training standards per FAA regulations and TCOs.
• Ensure students achieve required flight milestones.
• Schedule and coordinate flight and ground training.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective communication; prioritize student development.
