Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks a Computational Physics Staff Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.

You will perform CFD and CSD simulations on local clusters and HPC systems to support code development for air blast, shock tubes, explosive analyses, and various DoD-related applications. Qualifications

• BS in physics or engineering with GPA >= 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance (US citizenship).
• Experience with CFD or CSD codes and programming in listed languages.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CFD/CSD simulations on local clusters and HPC systems.
• Develop and analyze CFD/CSD codes and results.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists on projects.
• Prepare results and present findings to customers and teams.
