Job summary

Talos Engineered Products LLC is seeking a skilled software developer to join our internal software team. You will write CM code in Emacs for Configura CET Designer extensions and collaborate across dev, PM, and SME stakeholders.

Applicants should have a software development background, familiarity with CM or C++/C#, and a willingness to learn Emacs. Responsibilities include SQL, Jira task tracking, and occasional CAD work within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Residence in the United States with daytime overlap to the Central Time Zone.
• Software development work history or related degree.
• Experience with CM language or an OOP language like C++/C# and willingness to learn CM.
• Willingness to learn Emacs code editor.
• Experience using source control such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Write CM code in Emacs, for an existing extension of Configura’s CET Designer platform.
• Collaborate with other developers, PMs, SMEs, and stakeholders; use Git for source control.
• Track code tasks using Jira.
• Occasionally write SQL queries and create new tables.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work in Sprints.
• Communicate with teammates via Teams, email, or in-person.
• Occasionally work in CAD software.
