Job summary

Northwest Helicopters in Olympia, WA is hiring a contract Cessna 206 Pilot to operate the aircraft out of KOLM. The ideal candidate will hold a FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate, an Instrument Rating, and a current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate, with at least 500 total flight hours and current FAA proficiency.

The role involves flight planning, preflight and post-flight inspections, weather monitoring, and maintaining logs. This is an in-person, on-site position based in Olympia, WA.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate is required.
• Instrument Rating is required.
• Minimum of 500 total flight hours must be met.
• Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate is required.
• Current and proficient under FAA requirements.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Cessna 206 in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Complete flight planning and preflight and post-flight inspections.
• Monitor weather conditions and make sound operational decisions.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and required documentation.
• Communicate effectively with company personnel and customers.
• Keep the aircraft clean, fueled and ready to go on a moments notice.
