Environmental Air Systems (EAS) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector/Certified Welding Inspector (QCI/CWI) to join our Manufacturing team. You will maintain welding QA processes, inspect welding activities, and ensure compliance with codes such as ASME IX and AWS D1.1.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma is required.
• Associate degree in welding technologies is a plus.
• Certified Welding Inspector Certification is required.
• At least 3 years of inspection experience in pipe or structural fabrication or as approved by Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

• Conduct/supervise welding qualification testing in accordance with ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions to recurring welding quality issues.
• Coordinate scheduling of non-destructive testing by outside contractors.
• Maintain welder qualification records using software or in-house tracking system.
