Job summary

Image Associates Inc. seeks Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) for an entirely on-site role with relocation support. The position offers a four-day workweek, 10-hour days, and day/evening shifts in the Western Tennessee/Florence, SC area. Relocation assistance is available.

Responsibilities include continuous floor inspections of welding, cutting, punching, stamping, and painting, plus maintaining inspection records and producing formal reports.

Qualifications

• Must have AWSCWI Certification and at least three years’ experience as a CWI.
• Must identify cracks, corrosion, faulty welds or other defects affecting structural integrity.
• Must read and understand engineering drawings/blueprints; proficient with MS Office to produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Constant floor inspection and documentation of welding, cutting, punching, stamping, and painting processes.
• Maintain daily inspection records.
• Ensure PPE and testing are provided; perform NDT/NDE where applicable.

ManufacturingcompanythatmakesfabricatedsteelproductsneedsCertifiedWeldingInspectors,alsocalledCWI.Thisisacompletelyonsiteposition.Thecompanyprovideswonderfulbenefits.Youwouldworkafour-dayworkweek,10hoursaday.Dayandnightpositionsareavailable.$35-40perhour.

• ConstantfloorinspectionanddocumentationofallmanufacturingprocessesincludingCutting,punching,shearingstamping,notching,weldingandpaint.
• TheweldingprocessisaGMAWSprayTransferprocess.
• Allnecessarytestingandpersonalprotectionequipmentwillbeprovidedbythecompany
• Maintaindailyinspectionrecords
• Shouldbeexperiencedininspectionandtestofstructuresandwelds.
• ExperiencewithMagneticParticle,DyePenetrant,Visual,andUltrasonicinspection(NDI)preferred.
• Must have at least three years of experience as a CWI. Make sure you resume shows your registration number

Qualifications

• Mustbeabletoreadandunderstandengineeringdrawingsorblueprints.ProficiencywithMSOfficesoftwareandtheabilitytoproducereportsindesiredformatsisamust.

Thisjobpays$35-40anhour.
