Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist Level 3 – Certified Welder for a weekend night shift (5PM–5:30AM) in Fort Payne, Alabama. You will weld precision parts, interpret blueprints, and operate machinery in a climate-controlled environment while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

You will read drawings, perform certified welding, and complete hands-on fabrication tasks; maintain workspace organization and follow Siemens Energy policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AWS GTAW certifications required or preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English; welding tests may be administered.
• Up to 3 years welding experience in manufacturing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and welded components to ensure quality and engineering requirements.
• Operate machinery, set up and adjust equipment, and use hand tools for fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specs to determine operations.
• Use testing and measurement equipment to verify part accuracy and troubleshoot welding issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and quality standards.
