Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a weekend day shift (Fri - Sun, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM), onsite in Fort Payne, AL. You will help ensure products, materials, and records meet requirements, performing inspections, calibration, and testing as needed.

You will document findings, support nonconformance resolution, and collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain high product quality for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong quality mindset.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments; willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and digital literacy; proficient in MS Office; ability to learn SAP and QA systems.
• Ability to work independently, overtime, and adjust shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality documentation reviews, shop floor audits, incoming material inspections, calibration activities, or lab testing.
• Document nonconformances and inspection results in detail with pictures.
• Report audit findings and maintain quality records.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to address concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement and quality-related events.
