Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Specialist Level 3 – Certified Welder for a weekend days shift (5 AM–5:30 PM). You will interpret blueprints, prepare materials, perform certified welding, and fabricate parts for large generators in a climate controlled environment.

You will inspect parts, operate machinery, use hand tools, and ensure parts meet quality standards while maintaining a safe workspace and supporting safety, quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and AWS GTAW certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Comfort with welding tests and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welded components to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Operate machinery and set up equipment for welding tasks.
• Read blueprints and work packages to determine required operations.
• Troubleshoot welding issues such as undercut, porosity, or lack of fusion.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety standards.
