Certified Welder - Short Call Johnson Controls supports manufacturing operations that depend on safe, accurate, and high-quality welding work. In this role, you will help produce metal components and assemblies while working closely with supervisors and lead hands to meet production goals, quality standards, and plant requirements.
Work safely every shift, follow plant procedures, and take ownership of the quality and accuracy of your work. Stay close to the work by verifying drawings, specifications, and work orders before you begin, and by addressing issues quickly when they appear. Use clear communication with supervisors and lead hands to coordinate priorities, maintain flow, and support a strong team environment. Look for practical improvements in your work cell and apply continuous improvement thinking to help meet quotas and reduce rework. Keep your documentation, work-order scans, and reports complete and accurate so the team can make informed decisions.

Short Call {$44.05 + $100.00 Per Diem Per Day} hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet. Benefits are provided through a local labor union aligned with a collective bargaining agreement.
