Job summary

Pacesetter Personnel Services in Houston, TX is hiring a Certified Welder for our client. The position offers $25.00 per hour with weekly pay and a Monday–Friday schedule, with some Saturdays, from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.

You will perform welding duties on lead materials, conduct visual quality checks, wear a full face respirator, and comply with environmental, health, and safety requirements. Must have welding certification (AWS D1.1) and the ability to lift up to 60–100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Welding experience, including various weld positions (flat/vertical/overhead).
• Must have welding certification and AWS D1.1 certification.
• High school education or GED required.
• Able to read and write English and pass background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Welding and related activities (grinding, painting, cutting).
• Perform welding on lead materials while wearing a full-face respirator.
• Conduct quality checks and self-checks as instructed.
• Safe operation of shop equipment and lifting up to 60–100 lbs.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety requirements.
