HiFyve is hiring a Certified Welder in the Dairy industry in Zumbrota, MN!

Salary: $35 - $42 per hour

Shift: Days

Location: Zumbrota, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG, MIG, and stick welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.
  • Fabricate, repair, and modify dairy processing equipment to meet 3A sanitary standards.
  • Conduct grinding and polishing to ensure compliance with dairy industry regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
  • Operate fabrication machines such as rolls, brakes, drill presses, grinders, and shears.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Work efficiently in confined spaces and handle heavy materials as required.
  • Ensure all welding and fabrication meet strict industry quality and sanitary standards.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical/vocational school training or apprenticeship .
  • Welding certification required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must have experience in the dairy industry.
  • Strong proficiency in TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
  • Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel to sanitary specifications.
  • Knowledge of dairy processing equipment and 3A sanitary standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs and work in confined spaces.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
